General Stability Tips

• Crash/Exit on boot have been attributed to antivirus blocking the game, please check your antivirus settings.

• In some cases, black screen on boot under exclusive fullscreen can happen with selection of incorrect refresh rate. If you see this, please select non-exclusive fullscreen until this is addressed.

• Slow start and crashes have been attributed to steam Shader caching. Try disabling Steam Shader Pre-Caching in Steam's Settings.

• Some crashes have been seen with OBS and other services that inject overlays and similar into the rendering. Please try to quit and disable anything that might be adding overlays.

• If you have ray tracing enabled and are seeing stability issues, some users have reported success by reducing or switching off ray tracing.

• If you are experiencing instability with AMD GPUs, disable anti lag as per AMD's release notes.

• NVIDIA Maxwell / 900 series - If you're encountering performance issues, we recommend trying to use 471 drivers.
